Yummy raw apple sauce with many variations. For a recipe with fewer ingredients and less prep, check out my quick raw applesauce [3].
4 cups apples (with skins, washed, cored and chunked)
1 cup of raisins (or dates or figs)
1 cup of water
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon
nutmeg
1/4 lemon (including peel)
Blend all ingredients together (or use food processor). Add more water to thin out more. If you like it a bit sweeter it tastes great with a bit of maple syrup added.
