After juice fasting for 50 days, I decided to start back eating. . . very slowly and carefully. It seemed that blending my food for a while would be easier on my system then actually eating it. So, I created this blended soup and was very pleased with the taste and texture. Use as much or little cayenne, herbs, and stevia as you like. Hey, use as much or little of any other ingredients you like. I’ll never know the difference!
2 large heirloom tomatoes
1 medium size cucumber
1 small handful of fresh basil
1 small handful of fresh dill
1 small handful of fresh
cilantro
6 leaves of Romaine lettuce
6 drop liquid stevia
sprinkle ground sea veggies of choice
fresh cayenne pepper
large handful green sunflower sprouts
Prepare veggies according to the needs of your blender.
Place all ingredients in heavy duty blender without water, putting the tomatoes in first to provide the liquid. If you don’t have a heavy duty blender you may need to add water.
I had some left over for the next day, and it was actually even tastier after the flavors had melded.
When I start eating solids I will add some chopped veggies for texture. I may even try this recipe on top of zucchini noodles. Yum, I can’t wait!
