Sweet yet zippy, I served these crackers New Year's day to rave reviews. Easy to make. very different from usual crackers.
3 pounds yams or sweet potatoes
1 cup coconut shreds
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/4-1/2 cup orange juice
1 t. Orange zest
1/2 t. cinnamon
Grate yams and apples.
Put half in blender and puree with chia seeds, juice, zest and cinnamon
Add sauce to the rest of the grated mixture. Add coconut.
Spoon onto teflex sheets and dehydrate for 6-12 hours.
I enjoyed them very thin and very crunchy
