Pimento Cheeze
Craving Saver! The fenugreek seeds give it the amazingly real pimento cheese texture. Eat on celery or a raw cracker or bread. My boyfriend couldn’t tell this wasn’t real cheese. He had it on sourdough. This isn’t a very good pic but he has lost about 20 lbs and you can see it in his face here..=)
1 cup Cashews , soaked
½ Lemon, juiced
2 tablespoon fenugreek, sprouted
2 tablespoon onion, vidalia if possible
1 tablespoon
tumeric
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon celery seed
½ red pepper or marinated red
pepper
1 clove garlic (large) or 2 small
2 tablespoon sprouted garbanzo beans (optional)
Blend nuts first with lemon and dry spices. Add garlic.Pre cut red pepper and onion so it can be pulsed a little to add it in. Add fenugreek sprouts- 2 to 4 tablespoons.
Add a couple tablespoons of sprouted garbanzo beans if you have them. They have endorphin creating properties I’ve heard. (Happy juice!)
Also the fenugreek is good for the stomach and is said to be an aphrodesiac. =)
The tumeric is an anti-inflammatory- great for headaches.
This is really great with celery or anything you can think of. Try with other nuts or even all sprouted garbanzo beans. If the cheeze is too wet add a few dry nuts or a little dry nut meal.
