I made the No-Bake Cookie recipe by MammaCassa from this site for lunch today. As I'm munching, I thought if I powdered the oat groats, I would end up with a batter. Yummy! Dehydrate until top is crisp and you have a warm, soft brownie. Plunk a scoop of raw vanilla ice cream on top! Or eat it right out of the bowl! Go ahead!
1 cup oat groats, powdered in high speed blender (rolled oats would work) May need more to make thick.
½ cup Maple Syrup (or agave or 1/2 and 1/2 combo)
½ cup raw almond butter (or other nut butter)
¼
cup raw cocoa powder
sprinkle of salt
Powder oat groats. Mix with remaining ingredients. Pour into a pan atleast 1 inch thick (or more!) Dehydrate 8 hours or until top is dried. Eat!
Get creative and add choco chunks, cayenne, coconut or chopped nuts on top... Imagination!
