Makes one plate worthThe macadamia nuts make it buttery, just like the real thing.
Ingredients:
2½ cup macadamia flour
¾ cup date paste
½ teaspoon vanilla extract, or to taste
¼ teaspoon sea salt, or to
taste
olive oil (if necessary)
Preparation:
1. Grind all ingredients in the food processor, making a smooth dough
2. Remove dough from the processor and spread it on a flat baking dish
3. For the best consistency, put the dough in the fridge and leave overnight
4. Cut up the shortbread in pieces of whatever size you wish
5. Enjoy!
