serves 4 as a side, 2 as a mealAnother Israeli salad – I love the za’atar spices! They’re so different from anything you’ll have anywhere else.
Ingredients:
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 onion,
chopped
1 cucumber, diced
dash salt & pepper, to taste
1 lemon, juiced
2 clove garlic, minced or
pressed
3 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon za'atar seasoning (can be found at most asian stores)
Preparation:
Mix all the veggies together in a bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk together lemon, garlic and olive oil. Drizzle over veggies and toss together to coat. Sprinkle with za’atar and serve!
