i was dying for something creamy, sweet and rich one day (like every day!) and i love thick drinks. so i decided to make a sesame milk with a twist. i have never blended coconut cream with anything before, and this was a very pleasant experiment.
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 cup filtered water
1 large medjool date
1 tablespoon coconut cream
blend seeds with half the water, the date (pit removed please), and coconut cream. Then add the rest of the water and blend. pour and serve, or put through cheesecloth for extra smoothness. i personally like the little date bits at the bottom :)
(you could probably add less water and make this a sauce for fruit or veg or even salad)
