No set measurements here. Just sort of dump and taste. This is just such a very versatile recipe. You can either just use the beans dried or sprouted and dried. Whatever your preferred method is.
Take the dried beans and whiz them to a fine powder in your blender or coffee grinder.
Add enough purified water to make a nice paste a little thinner than you think you need as it will thicken a bit more.
Now just season it however your little heart desires. So many options.
I generally will add cumin, salt, a tiny bit of agave and some garlic and/or onion to it, sometimes hot peppers. Liquid smoke if you are feeling not so purist today. (anyone know of a raw way to get a smoky flavor???)
For a smoother texture you can add a bit of nut butter or tahini to it. Doesn’t take much. Keep adjusting the amount of water to your liking.
Put the whole works in a plastic baggie and toss in the dehydrator to warm.
