Is Gone Raw still a vegan site? I ask because not only do I not see the little blurb on the home page about it anymore, but a new member in his bio/rant that he will post recipes with raw fish and raw egg.

log out, and you’ll see the most beautiful intro paragraph on the front page..
though i do think there is room for clarifying more that this is a site encouraging a plant based diet..
Unfortunately, because of people like Carol Alt, some think that Raw Foods include raw animal flesh. Its the same problem vegetarians have had for years. I wound up with a $50.00 gift certificate from a national chain when a waitress wanted to argue with me that vegetarians ate “chicken and fish”.Never argue with a paying customer. I wasn’t impressed by the food anyway, and gave the gift certificate away.
I agree that I’d hate to see raw animinal flesh being included on this site.
rkbush—great story. a new fried of mine called herself vegetarian and ate chicken and fish… i wonder what it is about chickens and fish that resemble vegetables. hmmm…

eww raw meat?! I hope you’re right pianissima. I hope they don’t put any of that stuff on here. I’m loving raw vegan more and more. This site has helped me so much in that way

I hooe thats an oversight, nothing would turn me off more than having to read about chicken, meat, fish etc dying, one good way to remove my appetite.
