A tasty and nutrient dense cobbler! Enjoy with a maca custard cream. by rawguru.com

Ingredients:

1 cup unsoaked almonds
2 tablespoon coconut flakes
1 cup dried mulberries
1 teaspoon vanilla powder
1 tablespoon yacon syrup
1.4 teaspoon sea salt
¼ cup wild blackberries
¼ cup wild blueberries
¼ cup wild blue huckleberries
¼ cup wild red huckleberries
1 tablespoon yacon syrup
2 frozen bananas
1 tablespoon maca
1 teaspoon maca bites
3 ounce macadamia nuts
1 tablespoon lucuma powder
1 tablespoon coconut oil
.33 cup water

Preparation:

First 6 ingredients: Process everything in a high speed blender or a food processor. Set aside.

Mix all the wild berries with the yacon syrup. Let these berries marinate for 2 hrs. in a bowl at room temperature. After drain the berry juice into a high speed blender container with half the berries. Blend until smooth. Mix the smooth berry mixture with the whole berries.

Blend the banana and the other ingredients that follow in a high speed blender or food processor till a melted ice cream consistency. Set aside.

Assembly: Take a 6 inch round glass pie pan or a small glass bowl. Put a handful of the crust in it and begin pressing it into the bottom of the bowl. Add more crust if needed. Line only the bottom part of the pan or bowl. Do not put crust on the sides. Now, add the berry filling into the bowl and put into the freezer for 3-4 hours until hard. Take it out and put the other half of the crust on top. Press it down and put into freezer for another 30 mins until set. When you are ready to enjoy it, take a knife and run it along the sides of the bowl/pan until the cobbler will release. Take a plate, cover the top of the cobbler bowl and slowly flip it so the cake pops out of the bowl and on to the plate. Cut it in half and pour the custard cream in the center. Garnish with fresh berries and orange zest.

Thanks rawguru! When I run out of my ground maca I'll be sure to try the maca bites!

Maca Crispy Bites is my favorite type of maca to eat. Very delicious and crunchy. They are made with 100% pure and natural certified organic Black Maca roots, traditionally grown by local farmers in the highlands of Peru. Get your energy and vitality supported with Maca Crispy Bites. We start with Raw Organic Maca and using a specially developed, no heat process, it is gelatinized (the starch is removed). Basically, it is soaked in water. Then the maca is dried at low temperature to preserve the active ingredients and ground into small pieces. These crispy bites are better than twice the strength of regular ground whole maca. These pieces are great to chew on or use in recipes or sprinkle on foods.

Am I missing something, which ingredients are part of the crust and which are part of the custard cream??? Do the last 6 ingredients go with the bananas or just some of them and the rest make up the crust or is there no crust recipe???

The photo and ingredient list, look and sound delicious, just need a clearification... Thanks in advance for straightening me out!!!

RawGuru
This is a professional looking photo and recipe! You must be a raw food chef! :)
Thanks for sharing this.

Questions: Did you use the white dried mulberries as the crust looks golden?
I have bought the small snack package of these and they are so good. I'm assuming a larger bag is available... but where?

Thanks Again,

QT
