Servings:
1/4 cup chips

rich dark chocolate chips

Ingredients:

.125 cup coconut oil
1 teaspoon light agave
1 teaspoon cocoa powder, heaping
.125 cup cocoa butter, grated, packed to measure

Preparation:

1.mix coconut oil, cocoa powder and agave.

2.melt cocoa butter in small bowl set inside a larger bowl of hot water until melted.

3.mix into coconut oil ,cocoa powder and agave.(i have seen other chocolate recipes add a pinch of salt and a dash of vanilla at this point).

4.when it is the texture of hot fudge, spoon into piping bag or squeezable chocolate mold painter fitted with #3 (for mini-chips) or larger tip.

5.pipe onto parchment or waxed paper .

6.chill till firm.store in fridge.

I’m sure i don’t have to tell you all the things you can do with them!

I have also made this using a plastic food storage bag.spoon chocolate into a bottom corner of the bag, twist top of bag over mixture, and hold from there.cut off a very tiny corner of the bag,and squeeze gently to form chips.

note:use all cocoa butter(1/4 cup) for a harder chip.

this recipe works well in candy molds…use alphabet chocolate mold ,on page 2 of that link, to ‘write’ on a birthday cake…this little gone raw tart is decorated with my chocolate whipped cream

picture #2 now shows the chips:)

Hi Evergreen

In the past, I have made a similar recipe myself... and used it in Ice "Cream" and the chips are still chewy in the frozen dessert... very nice!

hi everyone! i have used these mostly on ice cream, pies, cheesecake, and raw(not dehydrated) cookies.i was thinking about adding a powder(to stabilize) like lucuma, maca, or mesquite, but ive never used them. if anyone has an idea, please let me know.

Yes but they would already be melted into the cookies....more like chocolate swirl cookies.

Yes but they would solidify as they cooled.

I make this all the time. SO good! But wouldn't these just melt into the cookies as you dehydrated them?
