Hiya,

Apologies if this has already been posted (but in all fairness I did a search for "barley milk" with no success).

I've never made barley milk, but I'd like to use a well-tested recipe instead of experiment. Do I soak the barley accordingly and then blend it with water like I would with brown rice? Or do I sprout the barley?

Thanks in advance for all the help!

Here’s a Buckwheat Milk recipe that suggests amaranth as an alternative. http://www.goneraw.com/node/4248

Hope you decide to experiment a bit and post a couple of new recipes.

SEARCH HINT: Using Advanced Search, split the 2 terms and put one as a “Keyword” and the other in “Containing any . . .” Especially in the recipes, this will give you alternative suggestions. That's how I found this one.
