Do these guys need to be refridgerated or can I keep them in a cupboard or outside on the porch? It’s nice to have them on hand, but they take up a lot of room. Any thoughts? I know some of you get them in the mail; are they shipped cold? Thanks for any advice!

No, unfortunately you do need to refrigerate them. I do get them shipped in, but it is expensive overnight shipping to prevent spoilage; they are not shipped cold. I end up freezing most of them coz they take up too much refrigerator space.

BOOOOO!!! That stinks. Anyhow – when you freeze them, do you thaw at room temp or in the fridge and how long does it take? Any change in nutrition, texture or flavor after freezing? Thanks!
