I saw a program on the Discovery channel about a year ago on this topic.
An American man was biten by a mosquito while working. His line of business
demanded a lot of traveling. Coming home on the plane he described the pain
that started in his legs. He said it was tremendously painful and the flight
home began to be unbareable. A couple of days later, his leg started to swell.
