I usually don't have problems with any vegetables, but lately eating raw zuchini makes me gag and upsets my stomach. I have nothing against it, and I have eaten it a few times in teh past, but the more I eat it, the more it feels wrong. I assume there is something about it (or in it) that doesn't agree with me. But the question is, what and why?

Have any of you had a similar experience? Is there anything in zuchini that can be cousing this? I would really like to hear your ideas, thank you.

No gagging when I eat it, but I just don't care for zucchini on it's own. I really like it as a "pasta" with a simple sauce of tomato, mango and basil. The texture is really nice.

Zucchini with mint and lime is really good, as strange as it sounds. :)

I love zucchini as pasta, but I can only eat a few bites. Cooked, I can eat a whole zucchini, but when I eat it raw, I get a terribly upset stomach.

.. I have no idea why my body doesn't seem to like it.
