Ok, so I've realised I keep discovering a dish, then I become totally obsessed with it and want it all day everyday! I have it for a couple of weeks maybe, then gradually move on to something else. My current love affair is with buckwheat porridge.
I soak my buckwheat overnight, then blend with a banana, couple of soaked dates, dash of almond milk (or date soak water) and cinnamon. It goes warm after blending for a while and then I stir in blueberries to serve. OMG - It's to die for! Not sure if it's because winter is here but it's just so comforting and keeps me full for hours.

So....moving onto the actual point of this post, I was just wondering was what everyone else's current obsession is right now?

For me, this time of year it is cranberries and pomegranates. I love them both, although one takes a little more work than the other to get to all the goodness inside.

carrot-apple porridge
two carrots, one apple, a couple of dates, cinnamon, and a dash of water in the blender; poured over chia seeds and raisins. it's got this great consistency, like souffle. sweet and good. i love putting that color into my body. i've been having it for breakfast almost every morning for two weeks.

but i'm thinking about trying that buckwheat porridge sv3's been eating tomorrow morning. that sounds super good too.

banana apple chai smoothie? is that recipe in here somewhere? sounds like an obsession waiting to happen.

AVL: I've just finished a grapes obsession! I adore red grapes. The bigger the better!

Currently I'm going through a fats obsession. Avocados, nuts and seeds. I just cannot get enough of them. I'm not usually this fat obsessive. I've been on an MSM megadose cleanse for 3 weeks and am wondering if it's anything to do with that? Some research is required.

Oh, ya and I'm still obsessed with any type of melons...breakfast everyday since July!

I know, my diet is not very varied, but I like it like that and I just eat what I like until I get sick of it!

frozen bananas blended with two thirds of cacao powder, one third of mesquite powder and agave or Yacon to taste. Can't get enough of it. Funny, I have always liked chocolate, but since going raw (or trying, anyway), I am just ravenous for chocolate. Any explanations, anyone?

I'm juicing now, but while juicing, I tend to only want to juice grapefruit - I could juice them as my meal every single day and never get tired of them...

When i'm done juicing (today is my 12th day and I'm not sure how long i'm doing it for), I'm going to be trying out some new recipes, so i'm sure i'll find a new obsession then :)

Try this since it's the best EVER! Frozen banana chunks, frozen fruit (or not frozen berries and things), some coconut milk, almond milk and a blender. Depends on what you like... I like it super mega frozen like ice cream, but some people add more almond or rice milk to it and make it not as thick.
