how do you pick good canteloupes/tell when they're ripe? I really want some and they're in the stores but I have no clue how to tell which will be good
Today I've had:
Banana, blueberry and spinach smoothie
nori wraps with seed pate, toms, cuc, s'corn and carrots
couple of dates pre zumba
vegan bangers and (sweet potato) mash with peas and gravy
Might have to have a couple of chocs later as they are calling me from the fridge. Damn my parents for buying me vegan chocolate for Easter!

dinner: I ate at Live organic food bar and it was amazing. My friend and I split hemp almond bruschetta (possibly one of the best things I've ever eaten in my LIFE), corn nachos with salsa, guac and sour cream, root veggie perogies and un-stirfry YUM
snack: avocado banana chocolate mousse
- 2.5 C Grapes
- 1 liter of Tangerine Juice
- 3 Navel Oranges + 2 hige Heirloom Tomatoes
- Smoothie: 8 medium Bananas, 4 Medjool Dates, and 1 Vanilla Bean
- 1 C chopped Watermelon
So far today. . .
- 14 Navel Oranges
Planning on having the same smoothie I had yesterday for dinner tonight. Whenever the weather starts to warm up I stop craving greens and fats most of the time. In warm weather I am basically a fruitarian, LOL, and I love it!

My costco membership got renewed, I'm SO happy I could cry.
So far i've just had 1 piece of dehydrated mango, and some green kombucha but im about to go make those Cinnamon banana pancakes. and then later, a green apple. and for dinner probably a salad, W/ apple cider vinigar Dill marinated cucumber on the side and a baked bulb of garlic. then later at night i'll probably have a couple oranges.

i could not be more exhausted today!! i had an hour of weight training, an hour of dance class, and then i had to make up another hour of weight training. i came home and slept for like 3 hours ahaha

Ran 5.72 miles today at a alternating pace of 6mph and 7mph in the beautiful sunny weather and enjoyed wonderful juicy sweet fruit afterwards! I feel so blessed!! :-D

Decaf coffee (organic & fair trade) w/ honey & hemp milk. I'm coming off a serious caffeine/coffee addiction. I made for two weeks with no coffee, just tea, and then I realized I had a bag of decaf in my cupboard, and I have been experiencing serious cravings for days now. so i indulged.

Smoothie of braggs apple cider health drink (acv, apple juice, cinnamon, stevia) 10 strawberries, 3 bananas, 1 apple, and 1/2 serving source of life . . .
Salad = spinach, chard, carrot, alfalfa sprouts, zucchini, 1/4 avocado, coconut amions, & dressing (olive oil, green onion, agave, acv)
can of the kombucha wonder drink, green tea style
1 Himalayan raw honey chocolate peppermint patty. i have three more. i might eat them if i'm craving late night snack.

Rawaholic , I totally understand, I can eat 1/2 watermelon after a nice long run! It's the perfect post-workout meal...juicy & sweet :)

Ugh, I'm undereating on raw fruits and vegetables. I crave a huge bowl of steamed broccoli and sweet potato at dinnertime every night. Now, that's not horrible, but....
schrip - don't worry, I went through a period a few months ago when ALL I wanted for dinner for weeks on end was steamed broccoli & cauliflower with tomato sauce! I got over that, and now I'm right back into what I was eating before.
