My Vacs:
12 volt Dust Buster (I wish it had more power, but it is portable and convenient)Kenmore: Quick Clean 12 amp (HEPA) Bagless…I like the prefilter but the vac is taped together in the front.
Kirby: G5 (a heavy brute of a vacuum with massive suction) Bagged, still need to find the attachments for this…
I have these and yet still I yearn for something more…am I alone in a vacuum?

We own a Kirby that really sucks! (in a good way) Though, it’s a pain to vacuum with it because of its weight. But, I’m glad I don’t have to vacuum… my husband does.
Okay, my mother has a thing for vacuums too. She just spent a pretty penny on a rainbow vacuum that catches all the dirt,dust and debris in a water tank. Since it’s her new toy she is bringing it to all of her friends houses and giving “demonstrations” ( whether they want it or not ). She had a kirby, hoover and orek.. the envelope please….. RAINBOW!!!! ( at least until she finds the next best vacuum ).
Had a Kirby and loved the way it was self propelled, but other than that, it didn’t suck up anything too well.
Now have a Dyson, it sucks up stuff super well, but I don’t like this ANNOYING, LOUD sound it makes if it hits against the nap of our carpet the wrong way, scares the crap out of me! It’s so loud that the kids have to go into another room when I vacuum because when it makes that sound they scream and run (and this is something other people have commented on too). And it’s HEAVY and takes some muscle to push it over a carpet. So, if you wear headphones and have muscles, it’s worth it and it truly does get the dirt up from deep down under :)
