  • I would try cutting out some of the fat. Too much fat can actually block the body's absorption of vital nutrients. Try reading the 80/10/10 Diet by Dr. Doug Graham. He talks about blood pressure on raw vegan diet.

    Good luck! :]

  • thank you, maybe if you have the book you could tell me what he says about this...i'm not likely to buy another book anytime soon

    :)

  • Trust me, buy the book 80/10/10. It will change the way you think of the mainstream high fat raw diet forever. I also recommend Green for Life by Victoria Boutenko. A few bucks will change your life and your health. Otherwise, check out Frederic Patenaude's website and sign up for his emails. Natural hygiene is the way to go.

  • Soon, the basics of the 80/10/10 is: Eat a lot of fruit for breakfast, a lot of fruit for lunch, and then a BIG salad of tender greens for dinner. Try to cut back on getting most of your calories from nuts, seeds and avacadoes (other words, cut back on the fats). High fruit, LARGE tender green salads, and low fat.

    Also- though it doesn't get mentioned as much, he (Dr. Graham) advises exercise each day outside (if possible). Fresh air, some sunlight, and enough rest. Those tend to not get mentioned as much. But, are important.

    Oh, he's pretty against grains as well.

    Here's a link to his website: http://foodnsport.com/?a_aid=1af99737++++

  • thank you, merci beaucoup, i'll give it a look and a go. i already get frederic's emails, but thanks for reminding me.
