Watch topic inquiry

RCBAliveRCBAlive Raw Newbie

Hey Ray and Candace, I’d like to know the significance of using the “watch topic” feature. Is there any advantage at this point in time of checking it? I am hoping that in the future, we could be alerted to new posts on any forum in which we have checked “watch topic,” but i wasn’t sure if there was some advantage in checking it now. It would be great to have that alerting feature for recipe comments as well.

Thanks!

  • yes i would like an alerting feature if someone commented on one of my recipes. in case they had a question. i would like to try out quite a few recipes but sometimes i’ll have a question but my comment wont get noticed. especially if their recipe is old, or if they have many other recipes on their list.

RCBAlive: Your watched topics show up under your profile right now (as monitored posts). If you use an RSS Reader, you can also get noticed of posts on individual topics or throughout the forums!

justbeautiful: Great suggestions. This is definitely on the to-do list!

Thanks for the info Kandace. That’s a feature that i didn’t have a clue about. I wonder if others are aware of it. It is most helpful as i was beginning to feel overwhelmed and feeling that i now need to manage my gone raw posts in addition to the rest of my life. i do look forward to the alerting feature for new posts in forums and recipes so that attention and input can be provided. thanks again for your wonderful site. it has become a very important part of my life.
