just a little story…. so i went for a walk in the woods near my house because I was feeling a bit low, hungry, no food, no money for food till Saturday, when i come into this little meadow. I’m staring at this little tree, and realize there are apples all over it! it’s not private property, so now I have 10 rosy,tart, delicious fresh apples!!! I’m so happy that there are a surplus of those maternity style blousy shirts out there… doubles as an apple basket! The universe has a way of letting things fall into your lap. I highly recommend if you are low on money, start walking, apple trees are everywhere and apples are now ripening!

I found a little farmers market near my house! I thought I’d have to wait till Saturday to go to the one 30 minutes away. :)

Weird we had the same epiphany, one of my wife’s co-workers brought in some apples and of course no one wanted them. My wife spotted them and brought them home, there small but perfect for my daughters fruit salads in the morning.
Ardes! where you been? I got a whole basket of fresh figs yesterday the same way, someone had placed large baskets full of fresh yellow jacket infested figs form thier fig tree out infront of their house,since i drive a truck i caustuosly placed the basket in the bed and drove home, no ,yelow jackets could keep up apperently! teehee so i have some killer figs,feel ilike im living on those! chickory, did you get last email about a cloak pin? Im serious….. you are soo talented!!!
