Ultimate Slicer Machine???
Is there one major device that cuts down on prep time for angel hair zucchini, match stick veggies etc.
I heard of the Spirooli and I'm just hoping there is something out there that is easier to handle and preferrably
mechanical. I love short cuts........
Well, it's me again.....commenting on my own post. lol
It seems as if there isn't an easy peasy ultimate machine out there.
I guess I'll order a Spirooli!
A mandoline might be better. You do need to switch the blades out. But it can make long noodles the length of the veggie, thin to thick slices, and you can also use it to julienne veggies.
I love this one, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000684DV8
I had bought one way more expensive and it was a pain, i never used it. It's super sharp (be careful!!) and it has the tray under to catch everything. This one i use daily, i love paper thin onion slices in my salad.
I travel with one of these too...

Thank you Schmoopee! I'll order it and it's on sale.
Has anyone tried the kitchen aide one?
what about the Saladacco Spiralizer? I am thinking of getting this one...but it's plastic :(
