Just got a call from a woman from ITV. Here’s the details:

Hello, my name is Anj and I work for ITV. I’m looking for amateur cooks for our programme Britain ’s Best Dish and thought that you may know some people who may be interested in taking part. We are making a new series of the programme and are looking for people interested in cookery.

‘ Britain ’s Best Dish’ is a contest to find Britain ’s very own best starter, main course and dessert. We are looking for ordinary people (i.e. people who aren’t head chefs with years of experience behind them) to cook their signature dishes and enter them into the mix. The overall winner receives the ultimate accolade of ‘ Britain ’s Best Dish’ and receives a £10,000 cash prize. I’m looking for people from all over the UK but especially in Liverpool .
