took estrogen to get my period and never got it?

hey yall i was perscribed estrogen pills to take due to me not having a period in 6 months. so…i took the 10 day set of pills, and waited and still never got it!!! ahhhh. my doc said to give it 7 days after the pill to start and it never came. i am really kinda freeking out. i also had a strange feeling when i had sex today, it was almost like a air pocket or lots of fluid was lodged up in me.. but there was nothing? dose anyone know what might be wrong? or has anyone had a similar expeariance?

    I didn’t have my period for 6 months, took estrogen, then a week or two later DID get my period. I don’t know why you’re not getting yours!
