Tiger Striped Pumpkin?

Just curious, can you eat a tiger striped pumpkin raw?
They were on sale for a penny at the store so i picked one up, but im not sure if its edible and i dont want to get sick.
If they are indeed edible do you have any recipes that would be tasty?

I've never had one, but in the past raw squash hasn't agreed with my tummy.

Well I ended up cutting it, and ate a bunch of it raw. From what I googled they said that it was safe to eat. Im actually making pumpkin-chia pancakes right now yum! :)

ooh! That sounds delicious! I heard Trader Joes has them really cheap right now, so I think I'm going to go buy a bunch.

I know they are so cheap right now, I had my mom pick up a bunch more. Just in time for thanksgiving too!
