Strecth marks

Hi everyone! I heard someone say that she got rid of old stretch marks through dry skin brushing daily. I love dry skin brushing, but have not seen any improvement at all in stretch marks. Do you know if this could really work?

Any other tips for reducing the appearance of stretch marks?

Thanks!

  • On Angela Stokes website, Rawreform.com, she recommends mixing together and rubbing in equal parts wheat germ, sesame, camellia and vitamin E oils twice daily. Also, pure, unrefined shea butter (I order organic shea butter from sliceofnature.com), MSM lotion or aloe vera gel. I just use shea butter and dry skin brushing. Love it!

  • Hi,

I used to have pretty bad stretch marks and red scars around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my three kids.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but unfortunately it didn’t seem to work too well. My Doctor had even suggested that I go for a Tummy Tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked really well. It took a number of weeks but my stretch marks soon faded away. You can read the lady’s article at the link below.

  • :). Hey

This is what worked for me:

get a good quality home acid peel kit with a reasonable concentration of glycolic acid. Use that once a week according to the directions. Then, the rest of the week use a ligher exfoliating acid cream, with salicylic or lactic acid on your belly after the shower. When you go to bed, copper peptides overnight.

Dry brush anyway, it’s good for lymphatic drainage all over your body and will release toxins that make your belly look loose.

You’ll see a difference in four weeks.

Dry brushing helped me, they are still there but much much less and muted. I just started recently and my skin feels GREAT! I can’t wait to see how they are in a few months…

  • Dry brushing really helped me and so did Coconut Oil!!! I love coc. oil :)))

  • I gave birth 7 months ago and so far I haven’t done zip, zilt, nada about my gigantic stretch-marks (I know, I know not commendable but I gave up immediately, ‘cause I knew from earlier there isn’t a treatment not even plastic surgery that can get rid off streetch-marks, especially seeing my stomack all covered in red very wide and lonfg SM;s so I kind a gave up) but then I was at one of our Serbian parent forums and one mom (who is from America or Belgium I forgot, but it doesn’t matter, anyway she told me about some creme she baught in Brusselm and said her SM’s vanished before her eyes, and she even offered to get one for me the next time she comes to Serbia to visit

But so far I haven’t tried it (or baught it) yet

But here is the link ”:http://www.lierac.com/UK/products/body/anti-stretch_marks/phytolastil_-_anti-stretch_marks/vials_and_solution.html*

Also one doctor who works with Murad cosmetics, she told me from her experience Murad cosmetics can get rid of up to 50-60% of SM’s in 10 treatments(one treatment per week)
