Quick question, when a recipe calls for soaked dates, how long do you soak them?

Also, I saw a on a thread a couple days ago a link to a website that had all the soaking times for nuts and seeds, but now I can’t find it. Does anyone have that link?

I don’t have the nut link but when I soak dates I only keep them in for about an hour or two. Just until they’re soft.
