Hmm, I wonder why no one’s commented on this yet…
Be ready for a long read: lol

I like to include in my kitchen alot of fruit.
I love fruit. alot. All kinds (mostly what’s in season but always lemons!)
Vegetables, I try to make due. Lettuce, onions, zuchinni, carrots, and tomatoes (fruit, I know)
I occasionally try other vegetables that I’m not sure of like sweet potato, pumpkin… I am planning on trying eggplant, broccoli, and some others that you’d typically cook but figure out how to keep them raw..
(apparently, soaking in lemon might pre-cook them? haven’t tried yet… but lemons are important)
Not only can you drink lemon in water and use it to pre-cook, you can also use it for hummus and salads.
For that, I’ll keep chickpeas, sesame seeds, and garlic nearby.. raw hummus has been my ‘full’ food. And its sooo good. I like to use it as salad dressing.

Other than that, I’d choose a grain (rye, quinoa, wheat berries) around for making breads.
And maybe a kind of nuts for those days I feel like having some fat.
Dates are good for sweetening things (though I’ve been enjoying stevia for that, it also keeps my appetite in check)
    Hmmm, what else?
Pumpkin seeds, basil and oregano for my pasta days..
    salt of course…
hmmm, that might just be about it…
    for staples of course.

  • My staples are lemons/limes ( most recipes call for one or the other ), olive oil, himalayan salt, Flaxseed, seasame seeds or raw tahini ( for the raw hummus ) and raw coconut oil, pinenuts, sunflower seeds and I order really raw almonds online. These are the ingredients that I always seem to use in recipes. After I have all of these staples, it’s just a matter of getting all of my fresh produce ie; greens, veggies and fruit. Good luck and have fun!
