probiotics??

Just wondering how to get probiotics on the raw diet???

Is it ok to eat probiotic yogurt??

Obviously there is a debate to whether we need them or not, more studies need to be done.

Initial findings suggest that they are healthy for us.

Also , are bacteria considered animals??? Can vegans not eat it??

If not yogurt then how can somebody consume it??

Obviously people thousands of years ago must have consumed more bacteria, since washing and cleaning (a type of processing), removes most of the bacteria on todays produce.

Oh ya one more question.

If eating animals is bad, why is it ok to drive cars and kill them with pollution and take away their habitats by building roads, houses, etc, thus killing them by taking away their habitats??

Do people 100% raw not drive cars or live in houses??

Just trying to put it all together, but conflicting results like the one above can make ordinary people trying to do the right thing, hypocritical.

Any views on this, cause I honestly want to be a vegetarian one day. Thanks.

  • There are a number of ways.

    Probiotics can be vegan.

Bacteria is a lifeform but plants are too.

Veganism is most often used in seperating animal products and anything from an animal, anything where there can be imposed harm on a animal to get the product in mind.

But there are raw sources of probiotics:

It isn't OK, of course. Who says it is? Of course we shouldn't create pollution and we shouldn't take away habitats.

Driving doesn't kill animals, at least not intentionally. And intention is often the key with lifestyle changes. It isn't my intent to harm animals. If animals are harmed through some action of mine, it's very tragic to me, and I'll try to do better next time. For example I just realized a lip balm I use includes beeswax. Now that I know, I'll get a different brand.
