I still can’t get my pictures to post on the recipes. Anyone else have this problem?

hi bitt..i noticed since the end of may,i need to resize my recipe pictures.in my image catalog,i go to edit,resize, and choose the option for web/blog(315×240) the pic can then be posted for me. there is a size restriction(less than 1 megabyte) for pics i think, and only certain types of pics(JPG,PNG,GIF) are allowed.at the same time, i switched from internet explorer to mozilla foxfire,as i was having trouble with the recipe title not coming up, and if i tried to print a recipe, the print was huge! ray posted this info on one of the(may) website update today forums. hope this helps, i love to see pics of the recipes!

Yes bitt I tried 3 times today to post a photo with my sour dough biscuit recipe… I used the same camera to take the photos and had no problems before with other postings….

guys, you’ve gotta make sure the picture isn’t more than 1 megabyte in size, if it is it will not post. This happened to me once and I just resized my pictures and they uploaded. The type of camera does not affect the size, but the actual zooming effects, angle of picture, etc, can affect the size. evergreen explained it well

but before it worked with anysize. grrrrrrr

hi again …see if you can post this resized pic of your cherry cacao cobbler . i am having one problem too, i can’t edit my vegan velveeta recipe,it says there is an error with the pic and its already posted!

bitt, when Kandace and Ray did updates (long before the server change) they made it a point to change the size of the photo to less than a megabyte. When you are posting a recipe, the page where you enter all the ingredients and stuff has a photo section, and below that, there is a warning “Your photo cannot be more than 1 megabyte in size!” The rules changed since the updates.

all my pics resized and not posting so much for that theory….

I am having this problem with the profile picture. I just tried to change it and it won’t expect anything. I even tried to go back to my old one and it won’t load it? Is a fix being worked on?

I finally got my picture thingy working. I loaded my Almy the Almond image successfully.

I hope Almy isn’t of the roasted variety. LOL!!!

I had the same trouble with my last recipe and had to resize the picture to 1057×793 for it to take.

It worked for me!

I tried to upload a different picture too but it didnt work. I’ll try to upload a smaller pic. All the ones I have must be too big. I took a pic of myself yesterday and wanted to post it. I’ll try your advice cIr-1976
