Ok I'm back
So- now it’s november and I really want to try going mostly raw again. I think part of what discouraged me was that I would try all these delicious looking complicated recipes (I do like to cook/uncook) and then they would just NOT taste good and I would have wasted like two days soaking, sprouting, dehydrating et cetera, plus all the food. So this time I want to keep it more simple. But I really like variety. So, any suggestions for my second try would be helpful, as in what recipes should I be looking for to keep things relatively simple but varied at the same time.
Also- I’ve been experimenting with juice fasting, but can’t seem to get past 3 days.
Well as far as simple goes I’m all into it. I usually just have mono fruit meals during the day or I day fast and in the evening I have salads like cabbage salad with a raw dressing and namo shoyu or a spinach salad with a honey mustard dressing(raw of course and homemade) then later I’ll have a bowl of berries or something like that with raw honey on top.
Very simple and not really many recipes but if you make interesting dressings it can be very fun!
My new staple is now banana pancakes. Pure simplicity; puree bananas and dehydrate in pancake shapes for twelve hours and bite into that soft bread. I love spreading jam on it too. I am eating just that with lots of oranges and I am not bothering with soaking all those nuts and seeds. I just like my fruit diet. It’s simple but you can make such good things.
