Just wanted to finally say hi. I’ve been reading here for quite some time. I keep finding threads that I’d love to reply to, but was not a member!
I have decided to go raw after not being able to find a doctor to help me find out what is wrong with my body. I’ve had a chronic rash that a dermatologist was not able to diagnose, as well as an allergist, and a naturopath. Going raw has cured me of all my Hypoglycemia symptoms so far, and my chronic rash is going away. I strongly believe that I have a problem with gluten, and was gluten free for quite some time. I gave myself a diagnosis of dermatitis herpetiformis, which IS very hard for doctors to properly diagnose. I’ve been raw for a few weeks now, and every once in a while I will eat something cooked, but will NOT budge on the gluten, dairy or meat. Every time I have eaten something cooked, I notice a huge difference in the way my body feels.
I’m finding that the raw diet was easy for me to move to, because I absolutely LOVE experimenting with recipes, and making things as healthy as possible. Eating raw is so much easier than eating gluten free by FAR. My husband has been very supportive in this change, so I only hope that I can be a good example to him, and my friends!
I will definitely be contributing recipes, because I have already made quite a few on my own, and have had a few friends enjoy what I’ve made.

I went through some major detox symptoms, but I am SO glad that I worked through them. I felt so sick, and on day 3, my skin was itching SO bad, and I cried, because I wanted this to by my cure. 2 days later I stopped itching, and I have not gotten any new rashes.
RAW is GOOD!!!
