New, need some help..

I’m very new to the raw lifestyle and actually came across it while looking for a way to help me girlfriend with an acne problem. Reading about it, I really think it can help her with several health issues. Personally, everything that I’ve read about eating raw just makes complete sense to me. As for my girlfriend, she’s very skeptical (as she should be after everything she’s tried.) So here’s the question: She suffers from vestibulitis which, from what I’ve been reading, could be related to too many oxalates in your diet. I’ve also read, here and other places, that oxalates are only an issue when food is cooked. Obviously, I don’t want her to eat more vegetables if it will make the problem worse. So, does anyone know anything about this? Also, do you think that a raw diet will actually help the vestibulitis, as opposed to only not making it worse. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have never heard of the condition your girlfriend has, but I do know that eating raw will help her. When you stop eating the things that drain the body, and start eating more of the things that support it, the body gets to a new level of overall health and this means that health issues are a thing of the past.

We wrote an article about it on our website, might be worth a look: http://purelyraw.com/cooking.htm
