Malabar Spinach?? Please HELP!

Hi, I have been growing this viney Malabar spinach for a while now, and so far only use it in smoothies. My plant is exploding and I want to be able to use it in actual dishes, but it is sort of slimy - like fresh cactus. I read that it is used in India in salads, but I can't find any recipes. Does anyone use it raw? Any ideas? Thanks for your help!!
