lower calorie desserts

Hi all,

I have a problem - I like to eat sweets! Can't seem to help myself. I'm trying to lose some weight so I want to try and avoid a lot of calories at night. I try to eat my fats consciously and don't want to eat fat at the end of the day, Can anyone give me some ideas for lower calorie & lower fat desserts? I'm not 80/10/10 but I'm not into gourmet either. I know about banana soft serve - this is great but what else is possible? I think I want something that is based on whole natural foods - no agave please, just want to keep it simple. But not fruit salad, that is too simple. lol. Maybe some nice fruit puddings or fruit dips......? The busted search function on this site is killing me, can't find what I'm looking for the normal way so I feel forced to ask in the forum :-)

Ta!

I love chocolate pudding -- blended avocado with bananna and cacao powder -- no sweetner needed.

I also make a lot of sorbets with no sweetner -- seasonal fruit with coconut water, blended then frozen. you can sweeten it by adding a date or grapes to the mix.

Just to give you some insight:

I eat 15 pieces of fruit, 5 veggies, green juice (10 servings), 400 calories of nuts and seeds, and some dried fruit too.

That's well over 2000 calories! However, I am 5'8" and 125lbs. So I'm eating alot of the right stuff, and don't need to think about weight. So just listen to your body! If you're hungry, you probably are in need of calories, nutrition or both:)

Chia pudding is fairly low calorie and due to the fiber content will help fill you up.
