Looking to purchase MSM products

Hello everyone! After reading and hearing so many wonderful things about MSM, I am searching to purchase some. Does anyone know if MSM powders and/or lotions are sold at Whole Foods stores? Also for those who purchase online, which web sites do you go through? I am very apprehensive when it comes to purchasing things online! Thanks for the input!

The whole foods near me sells the Jarrows brand. It look to be pretty good – it is OptiMSM. But it kind of expensive for the 16 oz bottle.

When I buy online, I buy at Natural Zing or Sunfood.com. But I normally go to Vitamin Shoppe – they are the cheapest and have a quality MSM.

I heard this was good for acne. My kids are having a tough time with this—do i get a topical cream or tablets? topical says not to put on open wounds.

  • I will look into the Jarrows stuff next time I’m at Whole foods! Thanks for the info!

Izhpt, I heard msm works wonders on the skin, that’s one of the reasons I am looking to purchase it. I know there are MSM lotions and powder forms…not sure if they have tablets out also. Come on MSM users share some of your knowledge with us! :)

I just bought some MSM about a week ago. It is in tablet form. I take one in the morning and one at lunch. It has about 750 mcg per pill. I have only been using it for a week and heard it takes at least a month to see any significant results. Maybe that’s why I have those dry patches on my neck….humm…....

I buy it off of Amazon.com. I get the Doctor’s Best brand. It comes in tablet, capsule or powdered form. This brand is derrived from pine trees and not from petroleum products. It works great for my husband’s shingles and my aunt’s arthritis. Great stuff!!
