Does anyone know when fresh figs come into season? I know it’s only for a short time, so I don’t want to miss it!

I read in Brigitte Mars’s Rawsome! (p.137) that they’re in season from June to September.

I have no seasonal help to give, but I hear you on the fig love. They are always in season where I live and I eat a sick amount of them. Really I eat about 15 a day. I heart fresh figs. Ah.

I thought that too, but no, I experimented. It is DEFINITELY the vegetables. ;)

I know that I picked them up last August. Oh, I can’t wait, those were soooo yummy!
