You may need to grow it like a chia pet! Both chia and flax get mucilaginous when soaked in water. If you spread the seeds on something pourous but keep the seeds moist, it should grow. I’ve never tried it since going raw, but I did have a chia pet in the late 70’s. Here’s what “The Sprout People” have to say.
