I'll be brief but I'm 28, from NY, and due to an insane combination of prednisone (a steroid) that my doctor put me on (turns out I didn't really need it), the development of PCOS, and my own emotional eating issues (which I'm working on), my weight has completely ballooned and I'm feeling like I don't know how to get back on track and get my lfe back. I've never been thin, but I've never been this big.
I'm not necessarily looking to go totally raw or vegan. I don't mind eating vegan and raw, but I'm mostly looking to give up dairy and sugars and limit the other stuff. I hope your enthusiasm, experience, and recipes will help me to get everything back on track.
Hi Phedre, welcome to the site! A simple way to start is to begin your day with a fruit smoothie. Try 3 bananas, 1-2 cups of blueberries and some water blended together. You'll be amazed at what having a healthy breakfast can do for your body and your overall mood. :)
