Do you know of any natural dry styling hair gel?

I am tired of sticking chemical hair gel in my hair. I am looking for a 100% natural dry hair gel that enables me to style my hair. Anyone one have suggestions?

I often wondered if you could use flax or chia soak water, which has a gel-like consistency. Perhaps you could add a few drops of GSE as an antimicrobal to make it last a little longer. I would try it. I think it might work.

As I was thinking about this, I did a query and found others that have already put this idea to work.

    Nice find, Meditating. ;-)

That’s just what I’ve been looking for.

yes, aloe vera is perfect. Mix it with some irish moss for thickening. If you are looking to “buy” one instead of making your own – Morrocco makes a raw natural one with aloe vera.

Also for sticky hold try either citrus juices (lemon or orange) or sea salt mixed in water. They make excellent hair sprays.

  • Regarding homemade flax seed hair gel, I have used it for years. I put a drop of lavender or rose essential oil in mine.
