Dehydrator

This might be a crazy question, thinking about buying a dehydrator, but I live in Maui very warm, was thinking with food sitting in a dehydrator for days could this cause a bug problem?

    i don't think so. a dehydrator is pretty much temperature and "climate" controlled so it shouldn't matter what the outside is like.
