why the heck can't I seem to get my Zucchini chips to ever turn out crispy? they are always chewy no matter what recipe I use. IDEAS?? Thanks :)
have you tried salting them and letting the water drain off?
How long are you dehydrating them? Because of the humidity level in the state I'm in (WA), I have to add up to 3 days to the recommended dehydrating time.
Some things I dehydrate never turn crispy if they are cut too thick
Yeah the cut thickness can really make a huge difference in regards to crispness i find.
You want it thin but not too thin for making crisps.
