A cracker to fool SAD eater. Anyone?

I’ve been talking with the children about more raw. They said they would, but some of the stuff I make isn’t that good. Texture is HUGE in this house. Sometimes I think texture is more important than the actual taste. My kids eat rice crackers and rice cakes instead of bread. Suggest some recipes!

I haven’t made alot of the cracker recipes on here but I am pretty picky too – I really don’t like flax crackers and I think most of the packaged raw crackers are pretty tasteless. I make my own for the most part to add more flavor and spice.

But I must say I was rather satisfied with Cafe Gratitudes Buckwheat/Pizza Crust cracker. The texture is on the crumbly side and doesn’t turn out chewy.

The recipe is in their I am Grateful recipe book. Also there almond toast is rather good too – it is hard and crunchy like a melba toast. I have made the crackers at home and they turned out good – still have to make the almond toast yet.

I think they are good enough for a SAD eater.

darn it! I have NO buckwheat. I was wanting to try making cereal and crackers for the kids with some buckwheat. I can’t find it anywhere around here. I’ll have to drive to Redmond probably. :-(
