Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I can have yellow mustard (the store-brand French's) on the raw foods diet? I love the flavor it adds and started eating again today. I am trying to do 90%-100% raw, so if this mustard is not raw I will stop eating it.

Thanks so much!

It's not raw, but it really doesn't have a lot of calories, so if it "helps" you to stay 99.9% raw otherwise, I say go for it (and maybe buy an organic brand).

I had questions about mustard too - people on here suggested that I make my own. If you like it I would say eat it - because it will help you with your raw transistion. Whenever you want or feel the time is right to switch you can maybe buy an organic mustard from the health food store. :) hope i helped.

Thank you both for the replies.

Mikfizzle, have you made the raw mustard? I would like to try; maybe I'll look for some recipes.
