When the president addresses the nation, this is the kind of stuff that should be discussed. When we get a candidate willing to do that, we will actually have change rather than another politician promising change and never delivering it.

In a sense…think like Grandma, but Greener. I really appreciated this video. It was “SPOT ON” with everything I have been thinking within my mind. I cannot say enough about the information given in this 20 minute video clip. Everyone should have the chance to view it. Going in my favorites, but also sending it to others who I know will listen. I saw this a little while ago and it really hit home. Now, when I do buy something, I’ve been trying to buy used as much as I can.

I haven’t even watched it yet, but I’ve been naturally buying less “stuff” lately. I used to be really into decorating the house, or making stuff, but I guess I’ve just been realizing all the waste – I used to work at a craft store that also sold a lot of gift & home decor items. It made me crazy to see all the styrofoam, plastic bags, boxes, etc. just filling up the garbage. Now, I look at the crafts & decorating stuff, and I am amazed at how much money, time & resources are used on these things that don’t feed us, clothe us, or keep us warm in the winter, etc.
Okay, I just watched the video – LOVED it! She has a great way of explaining & simplifying, and I’m even more happy with the direction I am working on in my life. Freecycle is a way people can help – getting things used or giving your used things to someone else, and it’s all free!
Thanks for pointing me to freecycle! Turns out there are some 3,000 in my local group already.
did anyone watch that video aspire posted the other day? it really foretells this entire movement as a predicted shift in consciousness. it’s neat to see. according to the mayan calendar, we are going to be seeing an acceleration of this sort of awareness… how exciting!

I saw it. I also agree with all your posts you have written about the Mayan Calendar Videos. It is a very, very piveting moment when you truly are grasping everything Ian Lungold is sharing. What an Amazing Individual he must have been!!! It would have been an honor to sit down with him for just a few minutes. But his video alone is mind-blowing!!! We all have a part to play in that shift of consciousness. It is VERY EXCITING!!!
