I use a little of these when I make my pesto sauce and I have always wondered about them. Are they considered raw?

I think that they are raw, but correct me anyone if I’m not right.

Yes most pine nuts are raw, unless they say Toasted.
But beware, most pine nuts come from China!!
But as with
any nut/seed out of the shell it is truly not ‘as raw’ as it could be as nature intended.

Somewhere today, I read a recipe that said to ‘sprout your pine nuts’. did they simply mean to just soak them? They don’t sprout, do they??
