Are any topics appropriate under Other Stuff

I have a question which has nothing to do with raw food or health but I believe there may be an adequate number of people on this site that are knowledgable about the topic and may be able to direct me. Also, due to the nature of opinions, I would like to be able to post the question to a group of people. I could track down a site specific to the topic, but then I wouldn’t have any insight into the motivations of people that would respond and that is not the way I want to begin my search.

While I am sure you don’t want Other Stuff to become a place for people to ask any and everything, would it be appropriate for me to post my question there based on the circumstances? I would certainly understand if not.
