anyone experiencing the same with sprouts?

I usually eat about 2 cups of bean sprouts per day (with salads). Well, if I don’t eat my sprouts for lunch then I crave them (and berries too!! don’t know if sprouts and berries have any relation) until dinner. It is like I missed something and I don’t feel very good and satisfied. Somebody else?

    oh, yes I do, just wondering if there can be a reason to feel that I can’t do without sprouts… Never have same experience before! I had fav foods but i didn’t feel like “this is indispensable for me i have to eat it everyday”. I don’t feel i must eat tons of sprouts during the day, just that i can’t go without them…

  • It could be that there is something in them that your body needs and so your body is telling you it wants them. Much different than your brain telling you it wants junk! That is your body speaking to you. Just keep listening to it.

    Sprouts are the best source of enzymes, because they are still growing. I don’t know about berries, but if you have the time and interest, I have found it interesting to look up the nutrition/health benefits of the foods I crave, to see what my body is asking for and watch my process of health :)

    I’m making some research and i have found they are both good antioxidants, but I will try to find something more.

    One question do you know if steve Meyerowitz AKA sproutman was in a 100% sprout diet? I can’t find a biography clarifying that point I just find information on his books.
