Marathon runners and endurance athletes often have very low lean body mass, so I wouldn't know how you compare to others in your chosen sports. That being said, yes you look just a bit too thin - your head looks big on a thin neck, your collarbones protrude rather prominently, and your pecs are edging towards non existance. However, I'm still learning about functional lean mass vs. society's ideal of bulked muscles for show. I think the important thing is your overall health - do you get sick often, do you have a lot of overuse injuries, do you feel fatigued or rundown, how's your mental clarity? I'm no expert but I think these would be some basic indicators of your body weight being too low for you or not.
Wait are you actually durianrider from all those youtube videos i saw lol? As for the to thin thing you are if you think you are. There is really no answer. If you think your to thin than eat a bunch of avacados.
Nah you're not too thin at all. I know people who look thinner than you and have been in optimal health for years. And I just had a look through your other videos... You FORAGED all those mangos?? SUCH ENVY!! GRRRRR!!!
I used the title 'AM I too thin?' as a bit of a lure... :)
When I started competitive cycling 12 years ago a coach said to me '"f you wanna be a good cyclist and really, really fit then start getting used to sedentary people telling you that your 'too thin!'. "
Imagine if the whole world ate bananas or other fruits as their staple. Imagine what a paradise it would be and how the plants could fully serve their role in saving the planet. Imagine a world with no more fat, sick, starved, depressed, violent or confused individuals.
if im eating melons it could be up to 200kg of food a week. Imagine all the compost that generates for building up the soil. Imagine all the energy that fruit provides in helping me help save the planet. Imagine all the fun of eating that much fruit.
I think my post was deleted from this thread. I said you don't look too thin and that America's obesity problem can make a thin person seem "unusual." Was this inappropriate since it was deleted?
Durian as great as that sounds, in all reality if the world changed to a fruitarian diet instead of grains than we would actually be hurting the planet. You can produce much more calories through grains using less energy than you can fruit.
8 pounds of carbon for a 4 ounce serving acckk. i love my bananas and melons too...and magoes. what gets me is when i see dill and cilantro form all accross the world.. .. like isreal and columbia....um seriously?!? i know i live way up north and it's hard to go local, and i love my tropical fruit, but buying easily grown herbs from accross the world that could be grown on my windowsill.. makes no sense to me.
70 bananas that's about 7 kg of food per day!
49 kilo's of food per week only for you.

Take into account that getting a single banana to your table uses about 8 pounds of carbon for a four ounce serving

Your not thin, your fit mate.

You do look thin, but I like the skinny-muscular type. So you look great to me :)
You look like someone who rides 1000000 miles a week. ;)

in the summer i easily eat a whole half of a watermelon, or 3 small melons, or 1 big honeydew. they're awesome.
